A path outside the city of New Ragrussi leads to the New Ragrussi Safari Zone. Similar to the city itself, the Safari Zone is completely enclosed in a high metallic wall. A small building sits at the entrance, welcoming in trainers and providing them with the supplies necessary for catching the Safari Zone’s Pokémon. All sorts of exotic Pokémon, some not even native to Lualdi, inhabit the Safari Zone, many of them specially imported by the Safari Zone’s manager, Dresden Amsel. It would not be hyperbole to say that almost any kind of Pokémon can be found in the Safari Zone, making it an incredibly popular location for people all over Lualdi to come visit.
Using the Safari Zone[edit | edit source]
The New Ragrussi Safari Zone has several rules for prospective visitors:
- You get ten Poké Balls for use in the Safari Zone as well as five pieces of bait. Unused Poké Balls and bait must be returned to the Safari Zone.
- You may not battle in the Safari Zone. You may use bait instead to improve your odds of catching a Pokémon.
- The Pokémon available in the Safari Zone on a given day are randomized. You may ask Dresden Amsel for information about them, but his descriptions are notoriously vague and unhelpful due to his failing memory and poor eyesight.
- You may visit the Safari Zone as many times in a given day as you have money for.
